The Invention of Lying

Though the company was great, the movie was not. I have to give it two thumbs down. If I had a third thumb, that one would be up for the intriguing concept and some really funny lines. But since I only have two, both thumbs are down. The big lie of the movie *Spoiler Alert* is that there is no God and there is no after life. If you are not religious, then you would probably really like the movie. But I am, so I was a little bit offended. There was definitely an underlying agenda within this movie. It was done in such a cunning and subtle way, that it is easy to over look it's blasphemous script. And that is me on my soap box.
I would have to agree with you. Sacrilegious and not even very funny. A few good lines and admittedly a nice secondary message--people are more than meets the eye.
